Win a FREE Weatherboy Mug Celebrating GOES-R Launch!

by Weatherboy Team Meteorologist - September 29, 2016

wbgoesmug1Want to win a FREE Weatherboy mug? Just comment on the Disqus comment section below with why you’d like to win. We will randomly pick 5 people by 5pm ET Friday September 30 to get a free mug! Please, only US residents with US mailing addresses only.

This newest mug features Weatherboy in an astronaut spacesuit working on a weather satellite in honor of the upcoming GOES-R launch. After it’s launched in November from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the GOES-R satellite will provide continuous imagery and atmospheric measurements of Earth’s Western Hemisphere, total lightning data, and space weather monitoring to provide critical atmospheric, hydrologic, oceanic, climatic, solar and space data.

Be sure to keep an eye out on Weatherboy.com and our social channels as we report more on the GOES-R satellite and upcoming launch! Follow hashtag #GOESR on Twitter for comprehensive coverage!

Good luck!
