A man was shot shoveling snow outside a laundromat in the West Kensington section of Philadelphia last Tuesday evening and police are looking for tips from the community on who’s responsible.

The incident happened on the 400 block of East Allegheny Avenue just before 6pm.  According to the Philadelphia Police Department, a man in his 20s was shoveling snow on the sidewalk when a dispute began with another man.  According to Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small, the suspect pulled out a gun and fired eight shots, striking the snow shoveler in his arms and legs. The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.




As of press time, the police have made no arrests in the shooting. They are encouraging people with any information about this incident to police at 215-686 TIPS.

This isn’t Pennsylvania’s first snowstorm shooting incident this month. Just the day before, 2 people were gunned-down in front of their house after an argument boiled over about snow removal. The stunning murder was captured on video, which has since gone viral online. The gunman in that case returned to his home and committed suicide as police arrived.
