The forecast looks bright for the New Jersey Jeep Invasion coming to Wildwood June 14-16. Despite a weather pattern that has kept the Garden State quite soggy in recent months, it appears Mother Nature will cooperate for most of the outdoor event. More than 2,000 Jeeps and thousands more owners and fans are expected to descend on the famous Wildwood Beach and Boardwalk next weekend.
The New Jersey Jeep Invasion is an annual Jeep-only event held right on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. Hosted in the sand, just a couple hundred feet from the Atlantic Ocean and right next to the iconic 2 mile long Wildwood Boardwalk, with over 300 rides and attractions, the 2019 NJ Jeep Invasion event provides ticket holders with ability to drive onto and park on the iconic boardwalk, or drive onto the beach. In addition to checking-out more than 75 of the industry’s top vendors, guests can take their Jeep through a one-of-a-kind beach obstacle course staffed by Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. However, the boardwalk and beach will only be opened to ticketed Jeeps; the last day to purchase tickets has passed.
Don’t have a Jeep? Or a ticket? No worries! The event is open and free to the public who’d like to walk onto the beach to see the Jeeps, vendors, and ticket holders participating in the activities there; there is no charge to simply roam the event. More details can be found on their website here: http://www.njjeepinvasion.com/ Pets, alcohol, and drugs are not permitted on Wildwood’s beaches or boardwalk around this event.
