The New Jersey Jeep Invasion arrives later this week in Wildwood, NJ, and it may be joined by some of the nicest weekend weather in months. The last completely dry weekend in southern New Jersey was over April 21-22; since then, showers and storms have dampened weekend plans every weekend since. It appears that is about to change this weekend with a dry forecast.
The New Jersey Jeep Invasion is an annual Jeep-only event held right on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. Hosted in the sand, just a couple hundred feet from the Atlantic Ocean and right next to the iconic 2 mile long Wildwood Boardwalk, with over 300 rides and attractions, the 2018 NJ Jeep Invasion event provides ticket holders with two full days of beach access. In addition to checking-out more than 75 of the industry’s top vendors, guests can take their Jeep through a one-of-a-kind beach obstacle course staffed by Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. While the deadline to buy tickets has passed (May 31), the event is open and free to the public who’d like to walk onto the beach to see the Jeeps, vendors, and ticket holders participating in the activities there; there is no charge to roam the event.
