
People used the “Did you feel it?” reporting tool on the USGS website to report they felt today’s earthquake which struck New Hampshire. According to USGS, a relatively weak magnitude 2.2 earthquake hit at 6:04 am this morning near Andover, New Hampshire. Shaking was reported throughout central New Hampshire.
Fourteen people used the “Did you feel it?” tool on the USGS Earthquake website to report they felt ground movement with this earthquake. Generally, magnitude 2.0 events and greater are widely felt while earthquakes under that are rarely felt. Those that did report the quake to USGS described the shaking as “weak” to “light.”
