The New Jersey Jeep Invasion is an annual Jeep-only event held right on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey. Hosted in the sand, just a couple hundred feet from the Atlantic Ocean and right next to the iconic 2 mile long Wildwood Boardwalk, with over 300 rides and attractions, the 2018 NJ Jeep Invasion event provides ticket holders with two full days of beach access. In addition to checking-out more than 75 of the industry’s top vendors, guests can take their Jeep through a one-of-a-kind beach obstacle course staffed by Rausch Creek Off-Road Park. While the deadline to buy tickets has passed (May 31), the event is open and free to the public who’d like to walk onto the beach to see the Jeeps, vendors, and ticket holders participating in the activities there; there is no charge to roam the event. Vendors are open 9am-5pm Friday and Saturday. More details can be found on their website here: http://www.njjeepinvasion.com/
The Jeep Invasion event is also collecting food for the needy, giving people a chance to win great prizes for helping the cause. Raffle tickets will be given when you bring non-perishable food items for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey – Southern Branch. At last year’s event, more than 8,000 lbs of food for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey – Southern Branch was collected. NJ Jeep Invasion also donated another 10,000 lbs of food to the The Preston & Steve Show camp out for hunger in November thanks in part to Rugged Ridge‘s generous monetary donation and a matching donation from US Foods.
