The weather pattern will evolve to one that will support a significant blast of high heat in the Eastern US next week, pumping temperatures in portions of the Mid Atlantic to higher levels than the US southeast. Places like Washington, DC should be warmer than Miami, FL while Philadelphia, PA will be warmer than Orlando, FL. The stretch of very warm weather is forecast to begin on Wednesday and last through at least Friday, baking a region that’s been more cold and wet than warm and dry the last few weeks. However, those looking for more summer time conditions will be disappointed with the extended forecast guidance. It appears conditions will turn cooler and more wet once again by next weekend into the start of the new week that follows it.
