Always follow safety instructions and common sense when using any solar eclipse glasses.

This promotion has concluded. A winners list will be published soon.

Enter to win your very own Weatherboy Solar Eclipse Glasses in this giveaway!

We are giving out 400 prize packs containing 2 pairs of glasses. To enter, just complete the entry blank below; we will randomly select lucky prize winners from all of those that have entered by 5pm ET, Friday, July 28, 2017. Winners will be announced soon after and the prize packs will be mailed on/around August 10 so that you get them in time for the August 21, 2017 Solar Eclipse!

The Solar Eclipse will be visible across the entire continental United States in some form, with a total solar eclipse  happening within a 70-mile-wide shadow, known as the “path of totality,” traversing the country diagonally, appearing first in Oregon (mid-morning local time) and exiting some 90 minutes later off the coast of South Carolina (mid-afternoon local time).

Because this eclipse is happening primarily in America, you must be a US resident with a US mailing address in the continental United States to enter and win.

Please: only 1 entry per person and only up to 2 entries per household/mailing address for -this- promotion.

The only way to get a pair of Weatherboy branded solar eclipse glasses is to get them for free from Weatherboy!

Viewing the solar eclipse has risks, especially if you don’t use eye protection. NASA provides viewing safety information here.  Weatherboy Solar Eclipse Glasses are made with special films that  block out 100% of harmful ultra-violet rays, 100% of infrared, and 99.999% of intense visible light. Because they block out so much light to keep your eyes safe, they will not work as sunglasses and should not be used for anything else other than safe eclipse viewing.

Winners will receive their Solar Eclipse glasses in a special collectable Weatherboy envelope stamped with the special USPS Solar Eclipse Stamp. These limited edition stamps use a first of its kind ink that reacts to temperature, displaying the moon or the eclipsed sun depending on heat sources like a finger near the stamp.

Good luck!
